We need to start with a Sunday walk in February 2012.

A group of friends, who had met many years ago at the school gates, were out for a Sunday walk in the countryside followed by a visit to the Pub doing a very nice Sunday roast! We are not sure if it was the wine but Penny made the suggestion that we should form a WI in our area as the only WI at the time met in the afternoons. An evening WI was needed as we all worked!

The rest as they say, is history…….
